City of Joondalup Youth Award - Tertiary Education

The City of Joondalup Youth Award - Tertiary Education is aimed at assisting 2nd-year students living within the catchment area of the City of Joondalup. The scholarship intends to help lessen the student debt by providing funds to assist with course fees as well as offer practical work experience. The scholarship includes the opportunity to begin a career in a local government department, by completing a paid work placement with the City of Joondalup for up to 12 weeks.
Eligibility
Applicants must: be Australian citizens or permanent residents; be 18 to 25 years old at the time of application; be 2nd-year ECU students enrolled in a relevant course to future employment within local government; be enrolled full-time, on-campus; and reside in the City of Joondalup catchment area. Selection is based on academic merit.
Amount | $5,000 The award is valued at $5,000, paid in 2 equal instalments of $2,500. |
