Graduate Certificate in Diabetes Management and Education
The Graduate Certificate in Diabetes Management and Education expands upon the knowledge and experience of the interdisciplinary student cohort to equip them with the essential qualification to work towards becoming a credentialed diabetes educator. The graduate certificate comprises four topics and one 40 hour clinical placement.

Structure
To qualify for the Graduate Certificate in Diabetes Management and Education, a student must complete 18 units with a grade of P or NGP or better in each topic.
Entry requirements
- Applicants must normally hold a bachelor degree or equivalent qualification, and hold current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as either a Nurse, Midwife, Dietition, Medical Practitioner, Pharmacist, Podiatrist, Exercise Physiologist, Physiotherapist, Optometrist or an Aboriginal Health Practitioner.
- Applicants must also have have one year (Full time equivalent) post registration work experience.
