Indigenous Commonwealth Accommodation Scholarship (ICAS)

The Commonwealth Accommodation Scholarships (CAS) are available to Indigenous students to assist with the high costs of relocating to undertake higher education. While the CAS have been replaced by the Relocation Scholarships (administered by Centrelink), they will continue to be offered to Indigenous students in their existing form.
Eligibility
Applicants must: identify as an Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander; be enrolled full-time at Flinders University in an undergraduate or postgraduate course of study or the Foundation Studies program; be accepted as an Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander by the community in which they live or have lived; be enrolled full-time at Flinders University in an undergraduate or postgraduate course of study or the Foundation Studies program; and not be in receipt of a Relocation Scholarship (available to ABSTUDY and Youth Allowance recipients.
Amount | $5,276 The scholarship is valued at $5,276 per year (2017 rate: indexed annually) for a maximum of 4 years. |
