David Suzuki Scholarship in Natural Resource Management for Indigenous Australians

Gifted by Dr David Suzuki, the eminent conservationist and scholar, in recognition of the importance of providing Indigenous Australians with the opportunity to play leading roles in Natural Resource Management. The scholarship aims to assist a talented, Indigenous Australian to obtain relevant university education.

Eligibility

Applicants must identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander in descent and are studying in any fo the following degrees - Bachelor of Environmental Practice, Bachelor of Geology, Bachelor of Marine Science, Bachelor of Planning, Bachelor of Business and Environmental Science, Bachelor of Scoence (including dual degrees with Arts, engineering or Law) majoring in: 1. Earth Science 2. Marine Biology 3. Zoology and Ecology Master of Science majoring in: 1. environmental Earth Science 2. Environmental Management 3. Fisheries Science and Management 4. Geology 5. Global Change Biology 6. Tropical Biology and Conservation and are enrolled full time (min 9 credit points per study period).
