The bursary was established in 2003 with a donation from Mr George Roberts.
Eligibility
Applicants must: be able to achieve at least a credit average in their first year undergraduate subjects; be outstanding residents who contribute to the ethos of the Hall; not be a previous recipient of George Roberts CBE Bursary or Halls of Residence Bursary; and have been in residence at George Roberts Hall for at least 1 full academic year. Tenure is dependent on satisfactory academic progress, continued residence, and continued enrolment at James Cook University.
