Hugh Alexander Grierson Trust Scholarship

James Cook University (JCU)

The scholarship was established in 1982 with a trust fund set up under the will of Mrs Stella Maria Jane Grierson.

Eligibility

Applicants must: be Aboriginal Australians or person of Aboriginal descent; be enrolled or intend to enrol as a full-time student in a degree or diploma at the university. Selection is based on academic merit, character and whether the candidate has, or will receive, other financial assistance. Preference will be given to applicants who are enrolled, or intending to enrol, in veterinary science or scientific research.
