Leo and Mabel Barnett Travel Bursary

The Leo and Mabel Barnett Travel Bursary was established in 1991. The bursary aims to support a student studying French at level 3 who wishes to travel to a French speaking country as part of their study.
Eligibility
Applicants must: be Australian or New Zealand citizens or permanent residents; be enrolled in an undergraduate degree and have received a credit grade or above in one of the units FR3221, FR3322 or FR2202; be intending to travel to a French speaking country to undertake further French studies; be intending to enrol at an overseas institution for at least 1 semester; and not have received any other travel scholarship, bursary or grant. Selection is based on academic merit and character.
Amount | $2,000 The bursary is valued at $2,000, or an amount to be determined by the Selection Committee from time to time. |
