Pat and Bill Mahoney Scholarship
James Cook University (JCU)
Ms Sue Kosse graduated from Queensland University and during her studies was a student of JCUs predecessor institute, the University College of Townsville. As the first in her family to attend university, Sue recognises the positive impact that having a tertiary education has made upon her life. To acknowledge the financial support and sacrifices made by her parents and siblings in order for Sue to attend university, she would like to establish an enabling scholarship for other first-in-family students to attend James Cook University.
