With more than 560 enrolled students, La Trobe?s Shepparton campus in central Victoria is testament to the University's ongoing commitment to sustainability. The new $10 million Shepparton campus building is designed to high sustainability standards, featuring flexible teaching and learning spaces, passive solar technology for heating and cooling, and underground water tanks. The building shared the regional prize in the 2011 Victorian Architecture Awards. It also received a 5-star green rating from the Green Building Council of Australia.
