Yet experts also predict that postgraduate qualifications will become increasingly essential to the competitive job market of the future. La Trobe's Bachelor of Sport Coaching and Development (Honours) lets you take your coaching expertise to the next level with a one-year research project within the sport coaching domain. Choose an area you're passionate about and delve deep into the science, theory and related practice. You'll work closely with a supervisor as you build your research and data and shape your thesis. You'll learn research skills relating to data collection and analysis, statistics, academic writing and science communication.

Structure

To qualify for the award of Bachelor of Sport Coaching and Development (Honours) students must complete 120 credit points as follows: 120 core credit-points

Standard entry requirements

Applicants must achieve the requirements for the pass degree, the Bachelor of Sport Coaching and Development or equivalent Bachelors degree. Students will be selected based on their academic performance in the final year of the pass degree and places will be subject to availability of projects and supervisors in the Sport Coaching and Development discipline. Students must obtain a minimum average of 70% across all of their third-year subjects.
