This is the only specialised degree course in Australia that offers a true overview of the whole advertising industry. Work in collaborative teams on real-world projects to gain deep insight into the areas of management, creative and media - and how these are increasingly intersecting. At the end of the degree students will have a full portfolio of work including print and digital ads, radio and television commercials, social media projects and marketing and media reports. They will also gain valuable writing and blogging experience through the student-run advertising blog AdBare. Graduates are equipped for roles in various areas of the advertising industry. Creative: writers, art directors, producers for print, radio and television. Media: Media buyers and planners. Account management: advertising agency administrative personnel, agency account executives. Marketing: consumer research and marketing strategists, marketing officer.
