The Undergraduate Certificate of Software Engineering will introduce you to the fundamental concepts of computer programming, cybersecurity, database design and management, and prototyping engineering designs.The certificate is equivalent to the first session of an undergraduate degree. If you successfully complete the certificate and meet all entry requirements, you can progress directly into the second session of the Bachelor of Engineering specialising in Software Engineering or the Bachelor of Information Technology. Alternatively, you can progress to the Diploma of Software Engineering and on successful completion, transition to the second year of selected undergraduate degrees.
