Combine mechanical engineering with industrial design in this double degree to become a product design engineer who integrates the knowledge of materials, manufacturing, and human-centred design with sustainability, innovation and aesthetics.You'll develop a high-level of knowledge and learn advanced technical and hands-on making skills to design and develop manufactured products that are functional, ergonomic, beautiful, and well-engineered.You'll learn how to tackle and solve complex problems with creative and innovative solutions. You'll build the design and engineering skills to develop a variety of products such as hi-tech appliances, furniture, tools, industrial equipment, areas of mobility design, health and medical product design, prosthetics and robotics.
