The Graduate Diploma of Legal Studies is designed to equip non-lawyers with the legal skills and knowledge they need to make better managerial and commercial decisions and to lead their organisations effectively. You will receive a theoretical and practical grounding in a variety of areas in law.
Structure
The course consists of eight units. You can choose units from a selected list of Monash Law's postgraduate electives to gain the legal knowledge that will give you a competitive edge in your chosen career. Depending on your interests and motivation you can choose a program of study in which you will plan and execute a research-based project with a high level of personal autonomy and accountability.
Standard entry requirements
An Australian bachelor degree (or equivalent), or an Australian graduate certificate (or equivalent), or a minimum of three years relevant work experience approved by the faculty.
