The Dr Herbert Gibson Rural Health Scholarship has been introduced to commemorate the lifetime achievements of the late Monash alumnus, Dr Herbert Gibson.
Eligibility
Applicants must: be Australian citizens; be commencing or continuing study in the Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery at a Monash campus in Australia; be experiencing financial disadvantage; and be from a regional or remote area. Selection is based on need and academic achievement.
Amount
$4,000
The scholarship is valued at $4,000 per year for up to 5 years.
