The trainers are currently employed in the production industry and are tertiary qualified or accredited by the appropriate professional association. Courses include Diplomas, Certificate III for high school leavers and workshops for hobbyists and professionals. The School curriculum focuses on technical and organisational skills with the aim of ensuring success in the film and television industry. Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is considered on a case-by-case basis. In the first instance, students should request RPL using the application form and provide supporting documentation. QSFT holds an articulation agreement with Griffith University whereby credit may be transferred to the Bachelor of Film and Screen Media Production. The Diploma is an ideal pathway into a three year Griffith course.
