Dr Laurie Cowled Learning Potential Fund Scholarship

Philanthropist Laurie Cowled funds these scholarships with the intention of fostering the education of women, particularly from rural or remote backgrounds, who are studying natural or physical science, architecture or building, education or creative arts.

Eligibility

Applicants must: be Australian or New Zealand citizens; permanent residents, or permanent humanitarian visa holders; be female; be studying an undergraduate course at QUT; and come from a low-income background. Preference may be given to students undertaking study in natural or physical sciences, architecture and building, education, or creative arts.

Amount $5,000

The scholarship is valued at $5,000, paid in 2 equal instalments of $2,500.
