Heather and Peter Howes decided to make their kind donation to the QUT Learning Potential Fund because Queensland Institute of Technology (QIT), now QUT, has played a very pivotal role in their professional and personal lives. They strongly value education and have encouraged this in both of their children.
Eligibility
Applicants must: be Australian citizens, New Zealand citizens, permanent resident, or humanitarian visa holder; and come from a low-income background; either commencing or continuing studies at QUT. Selection is based on financial need.
