The Laurie and Gail Smith Learning Potential Fund Scholarships were established by Laurie and Gail as a tribute to their family. These scholarships are aimed at encouraging disadvantaged and low income students to complete a Bachelor of Engineering with the hope that they may forge a successful career.

Eligibility

Applicants must: be Australian citizens, New Zealand citizens, permanent resident, or humanitarian visa holders; come from a low-income background; and be enrolled in, or be applying for a Bachelor of Engineering. Selection is based on financial need.

Amount $3,500

The scholarship is valued at $3,500, paid in 2 equal instalments of $1,750.
