Laurie Cowled Indigenous Scholarships for Business Students

Laurie Cowled founded the Cowled Foundation following her husband's death in 2005 in an effort to foster business leadership and scholarship amongst young Australian women. Laurie is pleased to work with the QUT Business School to fund this scholarship to support one commencing or continuing female Indigenous Business student in their studies and to pursue a career in business.

Eligibility

Applicants must: be of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent; be female; be commencing or continuing their business studies at QUT; and be enrolled full-time or part-time. Selection is based on academic merit, Indigenous community involvement, and financial need. Preference will be given to students who have not previously received this scholarship.

Amount $5,000

The scholarship is valued at $5,000 for 1 year, paid in 2 equal instalments of $2,500.
