SCU Equity Scholarship

Southern Cross University

The scholarships assist students who are from low socio-economic backgrounds and who may also be experiencing other forms of educational disadvantage. They aim to maximise the participation of such individuals in higher education and also target groups statistically under-represented in higher education.

Eligibility

Applicants must: be Australian and New Zealand citizens, permanent residents or holders of a permanent humanitarian visa; be enrolled, or about to commence full-time study in an undergraduate course; be enrolled as a Commonwealth-supported Bachelor degree; and demonstrate financial hardship.

Amount $2,000

From 2018 the value of the scholarship offer will be a pro-rata rate of $500 per unit up to a maximum value of $2000.
