This course enables the development of English language speaking, listening, reading and writing skills and knowledge in the context of the Australian workplace. The qualification includes outcomes focusing on preparation for employment, employability skills, literacy skills including digital literacy skills, and awareness of basic workplace safety and work culture in the Australian context.

Established in 1989, Status Works Pty Ltd is a Registered Training Organisation delivering training that assists unemployed people to enter the workforce. The provider runs accredited training across the Adelaide metropolitan area from five purpose-built training centres at Modbury, Salisbury, Kilkenny, Marion and Noarlunga. Courses are also available in language literacy and numeracy, personal development and job search skills.
