Western Power Scholarship for Women

Western Power has donated funds to The University of Western Australia (''the University'') to provide a scholarship to encourage and assist a high-achieving female student to pursue a Master of Professional Engineering specialising in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the University. Eligible candidates will be automatically considered for the scholarship and do not need to submit an application.

Eligibility

(a) a domestic student(b) a female student(c) enrolled, or eligible to enrol, in their first semester of the Master of Professional Engineering specialising in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.(d) Up to five eligible candidates will be shortlisted by Coursework Scholarships and Prizes for an interview by an interview panel nominated by the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Mathematical Sciences and including a representative of Western Power.(e) Preference will be given to candidates eligible to receive up to 48 points of conversion credit.(f) The interview panel will recommend two candidates to the selection body who will make a final decision based on academic achievement.
