The Emeritus Professor John Jackson Undergraduate Scholarships are intended to assist undergraduate students who are experiencing financial hardship and educational disadvantage with costs associated with higher education. Emeritus Professor John Jackson left a bequest to establish the scholarships to encourage students with academic potential, whose background may otherwise preclude them from considering a tertiary education, to be encouraged to gain an undergraduate degree with support from the scholarships established in his name.
