Indigenous Enabling Commonwealth Accommodation Scholarship (IECAS)

The purpose of the scholarship is to facilitate choice in higher education and to increase higher education participation by Indigenous students from low socioeconomic backgrounds who need to relocate from regional and remote areas to undertake an Aboriginal Orientation or Enabling Course.
Eligibility
Applicants must: be of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent; be receiving a Centrelink payment or demonstrate financial hardship; be from a rural or regional area; and be studying an Aboriginal Orientation or Enabling course.
Amount | $5,000 The scholarship is valued at $5,000 for 1 year. |
