A Master of Global Project Management and Public Health is designed to combine leadership, project management and public health skills. It provides an understanding of current global and environmental health issues, health policy, systems and economics, along with knowledge of social, behavioural and cultural determinants of health programming and evaluation. This dual degree delivers a strong body of knowledge across both disciplines. The course promotes your ability to critically analyse and evaluate health promotion and disease prevention strategies, advocacy, leadership and management and epidemiology, while also employing core project management tools to manage complex stakeholders and projects.

Standard entry requirements

Successful completion of a Bachelor degree (AQF Level 7) in any discipline and three years of post-degree professional work experience. OR Applicants without formal qualifications at AQF7 or above may be considered for entry to the Graduate Certificate of Public Health on the basis of a combination of formal (below AQF7) or non-formal qualifications and seven years of relevant experience in a health professional role. Applications will be assessed on a case by case basis. OR Successful completion of Graduate Certificate in Public Health.
