The Alastair McEwin Scholarship

The Alastair McEwin Scholarship has been established by Mr Alastair McEwin, alumnus of the University of Adelaide and (in 2018) Australian Disability Discrimination Commissioner to support one undergraduate or postgraduate coursework student with a disability who is undertaking a program of study at the University of Adelaide. The Scholarship has been established in perpetuity by Mr McEwin, and is awarded each year, to support students who aspire to become leaders in their field, and who also have a disability, as defined under the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
Eligibility
Applicants must be Australian citizens, New Zealand citizens, permanent residents of Australia or a holder of a permanent humanitarian visa, undertaking study as a Commonwealth supported student and must remain enrolled on a part-time or full-time basis in the approved program for which the scholarship was approved.Applicants must be registered with the University of Adelaide Disability Support.
