In this course students will study a wide range of commerce related subjects such as economics, financial planning, accounting and information systems - as well as multiple legal electives including corporations law, contract law, property and criminal law. No matter what study pathway a student chooses, this course will help them develop their advanced legal research and writing skills, which will open a wealth of career opportunities in the public or private sector, both locally and overseas.

Entry Requirements:

Year 12 or equivalent. English Language Requirements: An overall Academic IELTS of 6.5 or equivalent, with no band score below 6.0. Assumed Knowledge: It is recommended that students have Mathematics T/Mathematic Applications (ACT) or Mathematics (NSW) and English (major) (ACT) or English Advanced (NSW), or their equivalents.

Majors in Law Foundation and Legal Practice. Students may also select from majors in Business Economics; Finance and Banking; Financial Planning; and Accounting.

Recognition:

The Bachelor of Laws is recognised by the Supreme Court of the Australian Capital Territory and the State of New South Wales. Through mutual recognition, UC's degree may serve as the basis for admission in all Australian jurisdictions.
