Master of Health (By Research)

This program is designed to meet the needs of graduates in health and health related areas who wish to further develop their expertise in health research. It is an opportunity for students with relevant research skills and experience to undertake independent research in a specialised area of interest to both students and supervisors within the Faculty of Health.

Entry Requirements:

An undergraduate health sciences degree at honours level or equivalent from a recognised tertiary institution with demonstrated capacity and/or aptitude for research; candidates are required to complete a Research Education Program that will enable them to acquire the generic skills and attributes identified as appropriate for graduates of postgraduate research programs at the University of Canberra


Two options are available. The Type 1 course (research and thesis only) will suit students with research skills. The Type 2 course (75% research with 25% coursework) allows for students without research skills or experience to obtain these through the coursework component.
