FW Homewood Scholarship

University of Melbourne, The

The funds for the scholarship were donated to the university to provide a memorial to Francis William Homewood who was a chief study teacher of the pianoforte at the university's Conservatorium of Music for 17 years.

Eligibility

The scholarship is open to Faculty of VCA and MCM Bachelor of Music graduates in piano of not more than 5 years standing. Selection is based on academic achievement and career aspirations.

Amount $1,700

The scholarship is valued at approximately $1,700 for 1 year.
