A donation was made in 1987 by Mrs V.M. (Betty) McCreery on behalf of herself and her late husband, to establish 1 or more scholarships to assist students who are enrolled in science or medicine at the University of Melbourne and are experiencing financial difficulties.
Eligibility
Applicants must: be Australian citizens who are enrolled in the Faculty of Science or the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences and are able to demonstrate financial need.

The scholarship is valued at approximately $1,000 for 1 year.
