Kate Flowers Scholarship

The scholarship is to be awarded to a student who: has a love of music and performing; a genuine talent or potential in relation to playing their instrument; and an ambition to make music their career.
Eligibility
Applicants must: be studying classical violin, viola or violoncello at the University of Melbourne, and must have completed at least 1 year of full-time study at the Faculty or an equivalent institution in Australia or overseas. Selection is based on previous academic results and financial need. Shortlisted applicants will be required to attend an audition interview. The recipient will: not necessarily be the most talented applicant; preferably not hold any other major scholarships available at the Faculty; and preferably be in need of financial assistance.
