Mildura Alumni Scholarship

The Mildura Alumni Scholarship was established by a donation from various University of Melbourne alumni to celebrate the former all-residential Mildura Campus of the University. The scholarship is awarded to students from the Mildura region intending to study at the University. The University usually awards 3 scholarships per year,.

Eligibility

Applicants must: meet the eligibility criteria for the Melbourne Access Scholarship; have attended school and resided within a 250km radius of the General Post Office at Mildura for not less than 12 months preceding the VTAC Special Entry Access Scheme (SEAS) application; and require assistance with the expense of moving to Melbourne, living expenses during your course, or tuition fees.

This scholarship is offered to eligible students on the basis of the information provided in the VTAC SEAS application and the Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR). Students do not need to submit an application for this scholarship. Eligible students who have applied for admission to the University using the VTAC SEAS will be automatically considered. Scholarship offers are conditional on receiving an offer for admission to a University of Melbourne undergraduate degree.

Amount $5,000

The Mildura Alumni Scholarship provides a living allowance of $15,000 paid in 6 half-yearly instalments.
