Rae and Edith Bennett Travelling Scholarship

The Rae and Edith Bennett Travelling Scholarship was established by bequests from Rae and Edith Bennett to assist students undertaking graduate study or research in England, Scotland Wales or Northern Ireland.

Eligibility

Applicants must: be Australian citizens or permanent residents; be currently enrolled at or have graduated from the University of Melbourne; intend to undertake graduate study or a research in the United Kingdom as part of the current degree at the University of Melbourne, or to obtain a degree from the overseas institution; and not have completed a course of study at the same or higher level as the proposed study in the United Kingdom. Selection is based on academic merit.

Amount $60,000

The scholarship is valued at $60,000 per year for the normal full-time duration of the overseas study with a maximum of 2 years.
