Students enrolled in the Bachelor of Pharmacy with Honours degree will develop a strong foundation in basic and pharmaceutical sciences core skills which will be integrated with contemporary knowledge and application of pharmaceutics and pharmacy practice.
Structure
192 credit points (equivalent to 32 standard units) including core units, an Honours thesis, 200 hours of clinical placements and 100 hours of practical work experience.

Standard entry requirements
Year 12 or equivalent. Assumed Knowledge: Chemistry and Mathematics. Recommended studies: Biology and HSC Mathematics Extension 1.
Recognition
This program has been granted accreditation by the Australian Pharmacy Council and is approved by the Pharmacy Board of Australia as a qualification leading to registration as a pharmacist in Australia.
Study pathways
Students may be eligible for credit (advanced standing) for previously completed studies. This course includes an Honours thesis. An exit pathway is available for eligible students.

The following requirements shall be completed in the first six months of commencing the program: National Criminal Records Check and vaccination against infectious diseases as advised. Other NSW Health requirements will need to be met as advised in order to undertake practical work experience.
