The scholarship is open to students completing year 12 and gap year/s students who are commencing a university course for the first time in the year following application. It is open to students who can demonstrate outstanding sporting achievements at high level. The applicant must be able to demonstrate financial disadvantage. The applicant must be an Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander student.
