James Conway Langdon Scholarship in Veterinary Science

The scholarship was established in 1999, after being administered since 1975 by the Trust Company of Australia, through a bequest by the late James Conway Langdon.

Eligibility

Applicants must: be enrolled in the first year of the Bachelor of Veterinary Science or Bachelor of Veterinary Science (Honours). Selection is based on academic merit and financial hardship.

Upon graduation, recipients will use their best endeavours to serve at least two years employment with the Queensland Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (or any subsequent department that will perform their duties) or with the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO).
