The scholarship was established in 1978 by a bequest from the late Leo Howard, PhD A.N.U., BSc, Senior Lecturer in Mathematics at the University of Queensland, and funds raised by his friends to augment his bequest for the purpose of creating a suitable memorial to him.
Eligibility
Applicants must: have completed the first 2 semesters of an undergraduate engineering program at the University of Queensland.
