The scholarship was established in 2011 and is maintained by the income from the Robert 'Gus' Wiles Scholarship Endowment Fund.
Eligibility
Applicants must: be Australian citizens or permanent residents; have completed at least 16 units of the Bachelor of Engineering program (including a dual program that includes the Bachelor of Engineering program, and the integrated Bachelor of Engineering / Master of Engineering program) in the field of chemical engineering; have approval from the university to undertake an overseas exchange for 1 or 2 semesters of study; have archived a GPA of at least 5.5; and demonstrate financial need. Selection is based on academic merit.
