UQ Sports Achievement Scholarship
University of Queensland, The (UQ)
The scholarship was established in 2008 and is maintained by funds from donors and the University of Queensland, to encourage and support outstanding new and continuing students who have demonstrated exceptional ability in their chosen sport.
Eligibility
Applicants must: be Australian citizens, or permanent residents, or permanent humanitarian visa holders; be enrolled or intend to enrol full-time or part-time in a minimum of four units per semester in an undergraduate or postgraduate program at The University of Queensland in the following year, or after an approved deferment of one year. Selection is based on academic achievement, demonstrated leadership and capabilities, and achievements in their chosen sport.
