The scholarship was established in 2008 and is maintained from the income of a bequest from the late Marcelle Walden.
Eligibility
Applicants must: be mature age; Australian citizens or permanent residents; gained credit for all courses in first year of the Bachelor of Arts or a dual program; and be enrolled full-time in second year of the program with a declared major or extended major in the area of political science and/or public policy. Selection is based on financial need.
