The Alkira Burrows Scholarship is available to full time and part time students enrolled in the second year of an undergraduate program who are required as part of program requirements to undertake a placement to gain professional experience.
Eligibility
Full time and part time students enrolled in the second year of an undergraduate program who are required as part of program requirements to undertake a placement to gain professional experience. To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must:- Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident of Australia.- Be a second year student enrolled full-time or part-time in an undergraduate program be enrolled in a program with a requirement to undertake a placement to gain professional experience.- Be experiencing financial disadvantage and/or have alignment to an equity group including: o Aboriginal students o Students from rural / isolated areas o Students who are from non-English speaking backgrounds o Students who have a disability- Have a cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 4.5 or above.- Must not be in receipt of any other scholarships administered by UniSA during the scholarship term, however may be in receipt of grants administered by UniSA.- Submit a written statement supporting their application (maximum 750 words)
