Bob Mierisch Memorial Grant in Civil and Structural Engineering

The Bob Mierisch Memorial Grant in Civil and Structural Engineering has been established by Judy Mierisch in memory of her late husband, Bob, who was a well-respected civil engineer and construction leader. Bob Mierisch headed Baulderstone Hornibrook for nearly 30 years. He was awarded an AM in 1994 for service to the building and construction industry and the community and he received a Centenary Medal in 2001 for service to Australian society in the technological industry.
Eligibility
The grant will be awarded to the student? who is studying full-time and is enrolled in the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (Civil and Structural) programin their final year,who demonstrates professional behaviour and achieves the highest aggregate grade for their penultimate year as confirmed by the Program Director.
Amount | $4,000 The grant is valued at $4,000 to be paid in two instalments, first after Study Period 2 census date and second after study period 5 census date, and as approved by the Program Director. |
