The KPF Cambodia Project aims to build local capacity in Cambodia with a focus on community based rehabilitation. The Cowan Travel Grants were established through the generosity of Cowan Grant Pty Ltd and will assist occupational therapy students with the expenses associated with undertaking a placement in Cambodia as part of the KPF Cambodia Project.
Eligibility
Applicants must: be Australian citizens or permanent residents; be financially disadvantaged; be enrolled full-time in an occupational therapy degree; and provide a statement (max 500 words) detailing the expected weekly expenses to be incurred while on placement and if applicable the expected loss of income during that time. Applicants must not have completed their placement prior to the application closing date. Selection is based on financial disadvantage; academic merit measured by grade point average; and a personal written statement.

Amount | $2,000 The grant is valued at $2,000. Payment will be made in one instalment prior to the recipient's intended travel date. |
