Hansen Yuncken Grant in Civil Engineering

The Hansen Yuncken Tony Swan Grant in Construction Management will be awarded to a third year student enrolled full time in the Bachelor of Construction Management and Economics (Honours) (IHCN) program on the basis of academic merit and an interview. The successful candidate will receive a 12-week paid placement with Hansen Yuncken (approximate timing between November and February) and a $1000 grant. Students will be emailed once the Grant is open for applications.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this grant, applicants must: Be an Australian/New Zealand citizen or permanent resident. Be enrolled fulltime in the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (Civil) and associated specialisation programs. Not be in receipt of any other scholarship or grant. Have a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 4.5 or above. Have an idea of their future in engineering within the building and construction industry and how the grant and placement will support their professional development. Be willing to act as a positive ambassador for Hansen Yuncken and UniSA Applicants will be required to: Submit an online application. Submit a 500-word written statement outlining reasons for applying, an unofficial transcript showing previous grades and GPA, and a current curriculum vitae. Attend an interview.

Paid 12 week work placement plus a $1?000 grant to be paid upon successful completion of the 12 week work placement.
