Minter Ellison Law Scholarship

Minter Ellison SA / NT have provided a scholarship to support commencing students who are undertaking an undergraduate Bachelor of Laws or associated double degree at UniSA. The scholarship intends to support full-time students who are from backgrounds that are currently underrepresented in the local South Australian legal profession. These students include: Indigenous students; students from a non-English speaking background; students who are financially disadvantaged; students from a rural or isolated location; and students with a disability. The scholarship supports the University's 'social justice' value, which aims to build social cohesion by achieving equitable educational access and outcomes.
Eligibility
Applicants must: be Australian citizens, permanent residents or holders of a permanent humanitarian visa; demonstrate financial need; and be enrolled to study full-time. Selection is based on financial need, a personal written statement, and interview performance. Consideration will also be given to academic merit.
Amount | $4,000 Value: up to $16,000 which equates to $4,000 per year for a maximum of four years. Annual payments will be split in two instalments of $2,000 paid after the Study Period 2 and Study Period 5 census dates. |
