Placement Grants aim to support students who choose to relocate to undertake a program required placement in a remote or rural location, or students from a remote or rural location required to relocate for a metropolitan placement. The grants provide students with an opportunity to experience the unique demands and challenges of engaging with various communities, and will help meet the costs associated with undertaking a placement, including travel, accommodation and living expenses.
Eligibility
Applicants must: be Australian citizens, permanent residents or holders of a humanitarian visa; be enrolled in a undergraduate program which requires a placement of 4 weeks or more; and be confirmed in a rural/remote placement that requires the student to relocate from a metropolitan area, or confirmed in a metropolitan placement that requires the student to relocate from a rural or remote location, or, be confirmed in a placement that is listed as an eligible education placement.
Amount | $2,500 The scholarship is valued at $2,500 to help meet the costs of a placement of 4 weeks or more. |
