Bellmaine French Appreciation Travelling Scholarship

University of Southern Queensland (UniSQ)

The scholarship has been established by Mr Keith Bellmaine, a long time financial patron and friend to the University of Southern Queensland. Mr Bellmaine had a strong interest in the French culture and he desired to give young students the ability to nurture friendship and communication between Australia and France. The scholarship encourages the winner to further education, while also participating actively in the French community through employment and community activities.

Eligibility

Applicants must: be Australian citizens or permanent residents; be entering at minimum their second year of study of a bachelor degree at USQ, or have completed their degree within the last 12 months; and be able to travel and take up the scholarship within 2 years of scholarship acceptance.

Amount $20,000

The scholarship has a maximum value of $20,000, and is to be used for travel to and from France, accommodation in France and course fees.
