Greenwood-Tomkys Fund Scholarship in Sports and Exercise Science

The Greenwood-Tomkys Fund has been established through the Estate of the late Betty Greenwood and in conjunction with her sister the late Valery Tomkys. The principal purpose of the fund is to provide scholarships, bursaries and other educational assistance for students of nursing and other allied health professions and disciplines. Assistance is provided to assist students in financial need to undertake their studies, particularly outside the metropolitan areas.
Eligibility
Applicants must: be Australian citizens, or permanent residents; be continuing studies in the Bachelor of Sport and Exercise (Sport and Exercise Science) in Semester 1; be entering in to the second year of the degree; be enrolled in a minimum of 1 study unit in each of Semester 1 and Semester 2 of each year of study; and be studying on campus, external or online. Selection is based on personal statement (one page) outlining a description of aspirations and career goals in the future, and how the scholarship will assist financially; have a current GPA of at least 4.0; and provide evidence of financial hardship.
