Thelander Scholarship

Mr Thelander was a great friend to USQ. His wife, Barbara, and the family, have helped to carry out one of his wishes: that a scholarship be set-up in his name to help future USQ students in the pursuit of their academic endeavours. The scholarship will be awarded to a performing arts undergraduate, as Digger was a fan of the arts, particularly at USQ.
Eligibility
Applicants must: be Australian citizens or permanent residents; be commencing their studies at USQ in a Bachelor of Creative Arts (Theatre or Music) in Semester 1; be enrolled at Toowoomba; be enrolled in a minimum of 3 units of study in each semester; and be studying on-campus.
| Amount | $5,000 The scholarship has a maximum value of $20,000 for a 4 year degree and $15,000 for a 3 year degree. Each year the recipient will receive a maximum of $5,000. |
